Job summary

Black Butte Ranch is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance across facilities and common areas at our Oregon resort. You will operate heavy equipment, assist with seasonal and emergency operations, and support homeowners and guests with timely maintenance needs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of resort or facilities maintenance experience, with strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety and teamwork. A valid Oregon driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of resort maintenance, facilities maintenance, or similar experience preferred.
• Experience safely operating heavy machinery and maintenance equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across facilities and common areas.
• Operate heavy equipment and snow removal machinery as needed.
• Provide maintenance support to other departments and special projects.
• Respond to after-hours and emergency maintenance calls.
• Communicate with homeowners, guests, vendors, and staff regarding maintenance needs.
