Job summary

FirstKey Homes is seeking a Service Technician II to maintain residential properties in the Orlando area. You will handle resident maintenance requests, perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general systems, and travel daily to properties using company tools and inventory.

Responsibilities include safety compliance with OSHA/EPA/ADA, reporting hazards, maintaining tools, prioritizing urgent requests, and documenting work orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience across multiple trades in residential maintenance and remodeling.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for extensive field travel.
• Knowledge of building codes, inspections, and project planning.
• Experience reading and evaluating project specifications and scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, appliances and general home infrastructure.
• Travel daily to properties using company-provided tools and inventory.
• Identify hazards, ensure safety compliance (OSHA, EPA, ADA, Fair Housing, HAZCOM).
• Respond to residents promptly and professionally, prioritizing urgent requests.
• Maintain fleet vehicles, tools, and supplies and document work orders.
