Job summary

FirstKey Homes is seeking a Service Technician II to maintain and repair homes across our managed portfolio. You will travel within the market to address resident requests, performing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance while using company tools and inventory.

Strong customer service and adherence to safety policies are essential. Candidates should demonstrate experience across trades, the ability to read specs, and a commitment to timely, high-quality work in a fast-paced field

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident maintenance requests and repairs.
• Travel within the assigned market to service requests using company vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA, EPA, ADA, Fair Housing, and safety protocols.
• Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintain fleet, tools, and equipment for readiness.
• Respond to residents courteously and resolve requests promptly.
• Prioritize requests by urgency and impact on resident comfort and safety.
• Conduct regular property inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and building systems.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
