Job summary

CGL Facility Maintenance, LLC provides general maintenance services for facilities across the U.S. The General Trades Technician role focuses on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and related repairs, with on-call responsibilities and adherence to safety standards.

The position requires physical work in varied conditions, ability to read blueprints, use CMMS, and maintain equipment. A valid driver’s license and EPA 608 certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years experience in building repairs and maintenance preferred.
• Have general knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Perform work outside in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willing and able to work occasional on-call shifts.
• Must be a team player with strong work ethic and reliable.
• Must have a valid driver's license in state of residence.
• EPA 608 Certification preferred.
• Skilled Trade Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
• Responds to service requests including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and more.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure smooth operation and prevent deterioration.
• Adheres to established preventive maintenance program for heating/ventilation systems.
• Provides on-call support for emergencies as needed.
• Assembles, installs, and repairs wiring, plumbing, and building components.
• Reads blueprints, manuals, and parts catalogs to determine work.
• Maintains a safe, clean workplace and follows safety procedures.
