Job summary

CGL Facility Maintenance, LLC is seeking a General Trades Technician to perform comprehensive facility maintenance across a range of trades. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems, while following safety standards and a preventive maintenance schedule.

This on-site role may involve working in tight spaces, reading blueprints, using CMMS for work orders, and occasionally being on-call to support urgent repairs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in building repairs and maintenance preferred (1–3 years).
Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
Responds to service requests including electrical, HVAC, plumbing and carpentry.
Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
Operates plant equipment and building automation systems.
Maintains tools and inventory; follows safety procedures and PPE guidelines.
Reads blueprints and repair manuals to determine work and resources.
