Job summary

CGL Facility Maintenance, LLC is seeking a General Trades Technician to maintain facilities, troubleshoot and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. The role includes following preventive maintenance programs and ensuring safety standards are met. You may handle emergencies and mentor junior staff as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 years of experience, and a valid state driver’s license. EPA 608 and skilled trade certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years experience in building repairs and maintenance preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.
• Work outside in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lb regularly.
• Willing to work occasional on-call shifts.
• Must be a team player with strong work ethic and communication.
• Must be computer proficient.
• DL numbers valid in state.
• EPA 608 Certification preferred.
• Skilled Trade Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
• Responds to service requests including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance items.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure machines and facilities operate smoothly.
• Operates plant equipment and building automation systems.
• Trains other technicians and provides mentorship.
• Available for on-call services as needed.
