Job summary

Senior Helpers in Maryville, TN is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator / HR Generalist to own the full hiring pipeline for our territory from first application to first day on the job. This in‑office role supports recruiting and HR across multiple territories with a hands‑on, high‑impact approach.

You will collaborate with leadership to determine hiring needs, conduct screenings, manage postings in our ATS, and coordinate onboarding while upholding our mission to provide compassionate senior care.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, staffing, or HR—healthcare or high‑volume hiring is a plus.
• Comfort running full‑cycle process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, background checks, onboarding.
• Excellent communication and ability to read people to identify quality caregivers.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple open reqs across territories.
• Familiar with virtual interview tools and ATS; Hireology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervisor and managers to determine hiring needs and develop hiring programs.
• Conduct pre‑screen interviews, verify references, and compare qualifications to job requirements.
• Create, post, and maintain job advertisements in the ATS.
• Input applicant data into ATS and software; maintain updated candidate contact information.
• Coordinate onboarding and communicate recruitment process and orientation requirements.
• Develop full cycle recruiting strategies across multiple sources and events.
• Track KPIs and use data to inform decisions and improve processes.
• Represent the company at job fairs, trade shows, and sponsored events as needed.
