Job summary

Performance Food Group in Glen Allen, VA, is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to ensure efficient product flow, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintain quality standards in a multi-temperature environment. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting 10–35 lbs and up to 60–90 lbs when needed, with overtime potential based on schedule.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 6+ months in warehousing, plus the ability to pass a post-offer drug test and background

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to lift 60-90 lbs and handle repeated movement.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and pallet jack to move and slot inventory.
• Count inbound freight and transport to freezer areas as needed.
• Replenish pick slots and rotate stock as per policy.
• Inspect items for damage and perform temperature checks.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety guidelines.
