Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. seeks a Multi Store Manager (MSM) to oversee staffing, productivity, tax prep work and marketing across several offices within a district. The MSM will manage seasonal team members and drive efficiency and revenue in assigned stores.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience in tax preparation, and ability to coordinate scheduling, performance, and store operations to maximize client refunds and profitability.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and related business experience.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and tax software.
• PTIN preferred; prior tax preparation experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Leads recruiting efforts and interviews seasonal employees for assigned area.
• Monitors performance to ensure quality standards and deadlines; corrects errors as needed.
• Reviews and approves work schedules and timecards; coordinates with HR on employee issues.
• Ensures office standards at all locations including layout, equipment, and supplies.
• Guides employees in handling complex problems or escalated complaints.
• Monitors financial performance metrics and drives revenue and profitability at the store group.
