Zusammenfassung

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our on-site accounting team in City of Industry, California. You will run full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll for multiple locations and support general ledger activities with the accounting team.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on payroll experience, multi-state payroll exposure, and proficiency with payroll software, HRIS and Excel. This is a direct hire, full-time, on-site role.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing.
• 3+ years of multi-state payroll experience.
• Experience independently managing full-cycle payroll.
• Proficiency with general ledger accounting, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of federal, state and local payroll laws.
• Proficiency with payroll software and MS Excel.

Aufgaben

• Manage full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll for multiple locations across different states.
• Review timecards, attendance records, payroll adjustments and employee information.
• Process payroll adjustments, manual checks, off-cycle payments and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll reports, maintain accurate records and prepare payroll-related journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll laws.
• Process garnishments, tax levies, child support orders and benefit deductions.
• Coordinate payroll tax filings and year-end reconciliations (W-2).
• Maintain accurate payroll data within payroll, HRIS and ERP systems.
• Assist with general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activities.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Support management with budgeting and financial analysis and resolve discrepancies.
