Insero Talent Solutions is partnering with an established, multi-location professional services organization in Rochester, NY, to recruit a Payroll Administrator. The role supports payroll administration, reporting, compliance, benefits processing, and employee support across multiple states.

The ideal candidate brings strong multi-state payroll experience, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential compensation information with discretion while collaborating with finance and HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in payroll administration, payroll processing, benefits administration, retirement plans, reporting, or a related area.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll activities across multiple states and jurisdictions, including employee setup and tax withholding.
• Process payroll changes such as compensation updates and benefit elections.
• Research and resolve payroll requirements for employees in different states and remote locations.
• Review timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies before payroll processing.
• Maintain payroll and employee data in payroll and HR systems, coordinating with HR on changes.
