Montage Laguna Beach seeks a Payroll Coordinator to manage accurate, timely multi-state payroll for 5,000+ associates. You will partner with Payroll, HR, Benefits, Finance and hotel leadership to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with Workday HRIS, and a commitment to exceptional service and confidentiality. Reports to the Payroll Manager in Irvine, CA.

Formación

• Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel with reporting, data analysis, and auditing capabilities.
• Experience with Workday HRIS, ADP Smart Compliance and Evention preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll activities from start to finish, including imports and variable pay files.
• Review and audit time records to ensure accuracy and approvals prior to payroll processing.
• Process payroll adjustments, off-cycle payments, garnishments, tax levies, deductions, verifications, and other transactions as needed.
• Support final pay calculations and termination payments in compliance with state regulations.
• Research, analyze, and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with state agencies on wage reporting, unemployment claims, audits, and inquiries.
• Assist with reconciliations, audits, quarter/year-end tasks, and reporting requirements.
• Support payroll system testing, enhancements, implementations, and process improvements.
• Respond to payroll questions from employees, managers, and leadership teams.
• Maintain payroll records ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policies.
• Assist Payroll Manager with special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Monitor payroll inboxes and tickets to resolve inquiries promptly.
