Job summary

HBC Management Services, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. You will assist the Payroll Administrator in processing bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll for 1000+ employees across multiple states, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll.

The role requires strong customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork. You will maintain records, handle garnishments and union dues, and collaborate with Paylocity Time and Labor in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience processing multi-state payroll.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• CPP certification a plus.
• Experience processing bi-weekly payrolls with 1000+ employees.
• Experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements.
• Prior experience with Paylocity Web Pay, and Time and Labor desired.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll for 1000+ employees across multiple states.
• Ensure payroll compliance with Federal & State and local tax laws and company policies.
• Maintain garnishments, tax levies and union dues payments.
• Provide excellent customer service to managers and employees.
• Timekeeping system management; review and resolve timecard discrepancies.
