Garmat USA is seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for multiple entities and states from our Colorado location. You will handle payroll tax setup, timekeeping, and payroll-related compliance while supporting HR functions with accuracy and confidentiality.

The role requires 3+ years of payroll experience, knowledge of wage and hour laws, and strong Excel skills. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in HR, accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible payroll experience, including multi-state and multi-entity processing.
• Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll, taxation, and wage-hour requirements.
• Experience with payroll tax setup and multi-state employee taxation.
• Experience with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements.

Responsabilités

• Own and process full cycle payroll for multiple entities and employees across states.
• Process changes, earnings, deductions, bonuses, commissions, PTO, garnishments, and other payroll transactions.
• Resolve timecard discrepancies and payroll exceptions within deadlines.
• Review timekeeping for compliance with wage-hour requirements and company policies.
• Prepare certified payroll reports and maintain wage classifications and locations.
• Maintain HRIS data, employee records, and payroll-related documentation.
• Support year-end payroll reconciliation, W-2s, and HR data audits.
