Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end weekly payroll process for all employees.
  • Oversee the accuracy and upkeep of employee payroll records.
  • Monitor and comply with all federal, state, and local payroll tax obligations.
  • Compile and maintain prevailing wage documentation and OCIP reports.
  • Work cross-functionally with Human Resources and Accounting.
  • Provide professional support to field and office staff regarding payroll inquiries.
  • Research and correct payroll variances promptly.
  • Participate in audits and year-end close activities.
  • Evaluate payroll workflows and recommend enhancements.

Tiello has partnered with an established speciality electrical contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions and are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to support their continued growth and company success.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end weekly payroll process for all employees, ensuring precise and compliant execution in accordance with company guidelines and applicable laws
  • Oversee the accuracy and upkeep of employee payroll records
  • Monitor and comply with all federal, state, and local payroll tax obligations, including the preparation and submission of required tax filings
  • Compile, track, and maintain prevailing wage documentation and OCIP (Owner Controlled Insurance Program) reports
  • Work cross-functionally with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure payroll, benefit deductions, and reconciliations are accurate and aligned
  • Provide clear, professional support to field and office staff regarding payroll-related inquiries and concerns
  • Research and correct payroll variances promptly to minimize impact and ensure resolution
  • Participate in internal and external audits, year-end close activities, and other special payroll initiatives
  • Evaluate payroll workflows on an ongoing basis and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency
