Addison Group is partnering with an established organization to identify a Payroll Accountant to join their team in St. Paul, MN.

The role focuses on accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple entities, payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance, while maintaining confidentiality and privacy of employee data. The candidate should have hands-on payroll experience, ideally in multi-state environments, and thrive in a detail-oriented, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience.
• Experience with multi-state and/or multi-entity payroll.
• Familiarity with payroll taxes and garnishments.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Workday/ADP Vantage or NetSuite is a plus.
• Confidential handling of payroll data.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple entities with accuracy and on deadlines.
• Enter, process, and review payroll changes including hires, terminations, raises, retroactive adjustments, commissions, bonuses, and benefits.
• Complete bi-weekly payroll reconciliations and journal entries.
• Review reimbursements and payroll tax payments; support filings.
• Prepare standard and ad hoc payroll reports; assist with audits.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and support accounting functions.
