Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a large multi-location client in Chicago to hire a Licensing Administrator. This contract role focuses on transferring, tracking, and maintaining licenses across states, coordinating with agencies, and ensuring ongoing compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of licensing experience in multi-location settings, with strong research, organization, and communication skills. On-site work three days a week in Chicago or Lincolnshire is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years licensing experience within a multi-location organization.
• Experience managing licenses across multiple states and jurisdictions.
• Experience handling both license renewals and new license applications.
• Strong research, organization, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work onsite three days per week in either Chicago or Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track licensing requirements across multiple states and jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with state, federal, county, city, and municipal agencies regarding licensing matters.
• Research licensing requirements and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
• Process and manage license renewals and new license applications.
• Support acquisitions, relocations, and new location openings from a licensing perspective.
• Track renewal deadlines and maintain licensing calendars and records.
• Coordinate bonds, certificates of insurance, and supporting documentation.
• Work closely with operations, legal, risk management, construction, and leadership teams.
• Assist with zoning, occupancy, signage, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Investigate and resolve licensing issues, violations, and compliance concerns.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and status updates for leadership.
• Maintain organized records and licensing documentation.
