Job summary

MileOne Autogroup in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Leave of Absence Coordinator to oversee the administration of employee leaves across our multi-state organization. You will ensure compliance with FMLA, state leave laws, USERRA and ADA-related leaves.

The role collaborates with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Legal to provide accurate, timely leave guidance, maintain confidential records, and manage complex cases. A strong background in HRIS and absence management is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leaves administration in a large multi-state organization.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, USERRA, and state leave programs.
• Experience with HRIS and absence management systems; able to handle confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of Leaves from request to return to work.
• Administer federal, state, and company leave programs (FMLA, PFML, USERRA, etc.).
• Coordinate with Payroll and Benefits on pay, deductions, premiums.
• Prepare notices and documentation; ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Escalate complex matters with HR, Employee Relations, or Legal when needed.
