Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a Group Class Instructor to join our client site in Richmond, VA. This part‑time role offers two classes per week, with sessions Monday–Thursday between 12:00–2:00 PM or 5:00–7:00 PM.

You’ll lead engaging, safe group exercise such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. Candidates must have a current nationally accredited group exercise certification (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or equivalent) and CPR/AED plus First Aid within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current nationally accredited group exercise certification required (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT or equivalent).
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach two group exercise classes per week at client site in Richmond, VA.

This is a position teaching 2 classes per week. You will have the flexibility to instruct classes between Monday through Thursday, with classes scheduled between 12:00–2:00 PM or 5:00–7:00 PM.Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.Minimum RequirementsCurrent group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.The compensation range for this role is $25/hr - $30/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
