Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a part-time Group Class Instructor at our client site in Richmond, VA. You will teach 2 classes per week, with sessions from 12:00–2:00 PM or 5:00–7:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Candidates must hold a current national group fitness certification (ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT or similar), have CPR/AED and First Aid, and 2+ years of instruction experience. Onboarding and timecard systems are used. Salary ranges from $25 to $30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Responsibilities

• Provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members (dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, circuit).
