Job summary

HealthFitness in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking a part-time Group Exercise Instructor and/or Aquatic Fitness Instructor to lead energizing classes that help members reach their health goals.

You will teach a mix of land and water-based sessions, up to 2 hours per week, with flexible scheduling during operating hours. Certification and safety training are required and provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, energizing group fitness classes including aquatic options.
• Ensure participant safety and provide step-by-step instruction.
• Maintain equipment and assist with on-site operations.

The compensation range for this role is $25/hr - $35/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
