Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking passionate part‑time Group Fitness Instructors for a leading client site in Jacksonville, FL. You will teach one class per week or serve as a substitute instructor, delivering safe, engaging group workouts such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Qualifications

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA accredited certification is required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute are required.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Responsibilities

• Provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members including dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.
• Lead engaging classes and ensure participants are performing movements safely and correctly.
• Assist with onboarding and timecard systems as part of the client site team.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.

The compensation range for this role is $55/hr - $65/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
