Job summary

Eden Housing, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform a variety of repairs and upkeep at one or more communities. The role involves plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, sheetrock, and major appliance repair, with daily use of Yardi to manage work orders.

You will inspect properties, document deficiencies with photos, and communicate timelines with residents. The position includes on-site work, safety trainings, and coordinated on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year’s experience in a maintenance or construction environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties and repairs across trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, sheetrock).
• Use Yardi to create and complete work orders and sync daily.
• Inspect property and report deficiencies; complete inspections with photos.
• Assist in custodial work and grounds maintenance; ensure trash enclosures are tidy.
• Communicate with residents professionally and participate in safety meetings.
