Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Halstead Holden, a 192-unit community in Holden, Massachusetts. The role covers maintenance in rental units, common areas, offices, grounds, and parking lots, with a pay range of $26.00–$29.00 per hour.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and requires availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, appliances and basic HVAC knowledge.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair in areas including appliances, carpentry, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Complete service requests and repairs per company procedures.
• Ensure vacant apartments are market-ready and prepared for occupancy.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and annual inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal including snow removal and landscaping.
• Be available for on-call shifts for urgent needs.
