Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Whalers Place, a 75-unit community in New Bedford, MA. You will service apartments, common areas, and grounds, with a 7:30 AM–4:00 PM weekday schedule and on-call rotations.

The position offers hourly pay of $26.00-$27.00 with on-call duties as required. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of relevant experience and basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, plus strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• Excellent customer service skills and good communication.
• Basic familiarity with computers/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair in appliances, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and related areas.
• Complete service requests and repairs per procedures.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and market readiness.
• Maintain preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal; snow removal and landscaping as needed.
• Be on-call for after-hours emergencies per schedule.
