Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations at commercial properties in Overland Park, Kansas. You will assist with diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance across building systems and equipment, ensuring safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, a HS diploma or GED, and basic computer skills. The role may involve emergencies, on-call duties, and shift work as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; technical/vocational training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair buildings and installed systems including packaging and handling machinery, plumbing, kitchens, roofs, drains, shop and grounds equipment, and HVAC.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate fire and life safety systems as assigned.
• Perform carpentry and snow removal when necessary.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety practices; use technology and BAS systems.
