Job summary

UC San Diego Health seeks an X-Ray Tech to perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams across General Diagnostic Radiology, utilizing fixed and portable equipment under supervision.

The technologist applies radiation safety principles, ensures image quality, and documents results, occasionally providing front and back-office support. The role floats across Encinitas, Vista, Rancho Bernardo, Eastlake, La Jolla, and Pacific Highlands Ranch.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in radiologic technology or new graduate from an approved program.
• ARRT Radiography registration required (R.T.(R) (ARRT)).
• California CRT-R radiography and CRT-F fluoroscopy credentials (or obtain within 6 months).
• BART or BLS at time of hire with plan to obtain BART within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams.
• Adhere to radiation safety principles and protocol specifics.
• Enter data accurately into the computer system and review images for quality.
• Float between Community Care X-Ray Sites as assigned.
