Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Radiology Tech for per diem, floating among Community Care X-Ray sites across San Diego. The role requires performing radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, while maintaining radiation safety and image quality as directed by Radiologists.

The Technologist will position patients, enter data, and support front/back-office tasks as needed. Flexible hours, background checks, and standard health system requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in radiologic technology or new graduate from an approved program.
• Registered Technologist for Radiography (ARRT) required.
• CRT-R and CRT-F or be able to obtain CRT-F within 6 months of hire.
• BART or BLS at hire, with plan to obtain BART within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment.
• Prepare and position patients per protocol to achieve high-quality images.
• Review and verify images for technical and diagnostic quality; ensure data entry accuracy.
