Qualifications

• Must hold California CRT-R license.
• CRT-F within 6 months of hire.
• ARRT radiography certification (R.T(R)).
• BART or BLS at hire, with plan to obtain BART within 6 months.
• Experience: <18 months in similar role or >18 months for Sr. Rad Tech.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams.
• Prepare and position patients per established protocols to achieve high-quality images.
• Review, verify and evaluate images to ensure technical and image quality; ensure policy compliance.
• Communicate effectively with patients and health care staff; assist other technologists as needed.
• Demonstrate and apply principles of radiation safety.
