Job summary

The role requires ARRT and California CRT credentials, strong radiation safety, patient positioning, and collaboration with radiologists and staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Will float among community care sites and support front-office tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in radiology or a new graduate from an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
• CRT-R credential or CRT-F with eligibility within 6 months of hire.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within six months.
• Knowledge of radiology computerized systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment.
• Adhere to radiologist instructions and ensure high-quality images.
• Enter complex data accurately into the computer system and review images for diagnostic quality.
• Float between Community Care X-Ray Sites (Encinitas, Vista, Rancho Bernardo, Eastlake, La Jolla, Pacific Highlands Ranch) and provide front/back-office support as needed.
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines and uphold radiation safety standards.
