Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Workplace Solutions Manager to lead soft services operations across pharmaceutical labs and offices in Massachusetts. You will oversee vendor performance, ensure safety and compliance, and drive continuous improvement while directly managing two Site Coordinators.

The role requires five years in facilities management, strong leadership, and experience with security and environmental health standards. A bachelor's degree and travel between sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities management, workplace operations, or vendor management in multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Operational Management - Lead day-to-day soft services operations across multiple laboratory and office facilities, ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to standards.
• Vendor and Contract Management - Manage third-party service providers; monitor SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations; coordinate scopes, scheduling, renewals.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance - Develop inspection programs, audit processes, and quality standards; ensure compliance with EHS, GMP-adjacent standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Special Projects Management - Lead special cleaning and workplace service projects; plan activities and minimize operational disruption.
• Security Oversight - Manage relationships with contracted security providers and support security initiatives.
• Team Leadership & Employee Development - Directly supervise two Site Coordinators; set goals and development plans; conduct evaluations and coaching.
• Incident Response & Business Support - Support incident response and remediation with vendors and stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement - Drive initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
