Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a highly motivated Facility Manager to lead operations across customer sites with emphasis on safety, reliability, and cost optimization. You will guide maintenance programs, manage budgets, and engage customers to meet contractual commitments.

The role requires extensive travel and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with certifications in OSHA and professional FM credentials preferred. A dynamic, field-based environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing facility operations, maintenance programs, vendors, budgets, and customer relationships.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel.
• OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of facility operations across assigned sites to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Develop strategies to improve equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Serve as primary liaison between EMCOR, customers, and service partners; manage vendor performance and ensure contract requirements.
• Manage site and portfolio financial performance including budgets and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, contractual, environmental, and company requirements.
• Provide leadership and development for facility personnel and subcontracted resources.
