Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services seeks a highly mobile Facility Manager to lead operations across customer locations, delivering safe, reliable, and efficient service. You will oversee maintenance, safety, and financial performance while engaging stakeholders and driving continuous improvement.

The role requires extensive travel, strong business acumen, and the ability to rapidly mobilize to sites with leadership vacancies or heightened demand. OSHA certifications and FM credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related field.
• Progressively responsible experience in facilities management, maintenance operations, property operations, or related field.
• Experience managing facility operations, maintenance programs, vendors, budgets, and customer relationships.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, developing employees, and driving operational performance.
• Experience managing projects, capital improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel, to support facilities across the organization.
• OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
• Professional certifications such as FMP, CFM, SFP, IFMA, BOMA, LEED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of facility operations across assigned sites to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities through the applicable CMMS.
• Develop strategies to improve equipment reliability, operational effectiveness, and overall facility performance while ensuring maintenance work aligns with standards.
• Serve as primary liaison between EMCOR, customers, and service partners; manage vendor performance and customer meetings.
• Manage site and portfolio budgets, forecasting, purchase orders, invoicing, and capital planning.
• Monitor performance indicators, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to control costs and improve service.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, contractual, and company requirements; support audits and corrective actions.
• Provide leadership and development for facility personnel and subcontracted resources; foster engagement and accountability.
• Lead safety initiatives, manage capital projects from planning to execution, and drive continuous improvement.
