Fortis Property Management is seeking a Property Operations Manager to provide temporary, multi-site operational leadership across residential communities. You will manage vacancies, transitions, and staffing needs while aligning with budgets, policies, and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of multifamily property management experience.
• Experience as Property or Assistant Manager in multifamily housing preferred.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, AppFolio).
• Strong leadership, multitasking, and communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage communities temporarily based on business needs.
• Provide operational leadership during vacancies, transitions, and emergencies.
• Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, traffic, and renewals.
• Audit and code invoices, manage budgets, and oversee vendor relations.
• Maintain property's appearance, safety, and resident experience.
• Lead onsite teams through coaching, direction, and oversight.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and local regulations.
