Peak Properties, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for scattered sites in the Hyde Park Portfolio. The role supports the Property Manager in tenant relations, rent collection, and ensuring properties operate smoothly within the owner’s goals.

The position emphasizes coordination of move-ins/outs, vendor bids, and maintenance scheduling across multiple buildings in the Chicagoland area, with a focus on compliance and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, real estate, construction management or vocational real estate training preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and business communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and motivated self-starter.
• Ability to multi task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and renewals of residents.
• Assist with managing day-to-day operations for multiple buildings/portfolios.
• Inspect property to ensure good working order and maintenance needs.
• Pull financial reports and assist with utility approvals and invoice discrepancies.
• Encourage collaboration with leasing agents and coordinators to improve efficiency.
