Job summary

SpotOn is seeking an Installation Specialist to prepare restaurant sites for POS implementations through virtual assessments and onsite readiness checks. You'll install hardware, configure systems, and train staff to ensure successful deployments across multiple sites.

You will troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, mentor junior specialists, and contribute to process improvements while traveling to client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred associate degree in IT/Networking or related field.
• Experience with restaurant POS systems and multi-site deployments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual site surveys and validate wiring, networking, and internet readiness.
• Install and configure POS hardware onsite, perform cabling and connectivity setup, and deliver staff training.
• Provide on-going support, QA checks, and ensure adherence to SOPs and SLAs.
• Travel regularly to client sites and mentor junior specialists.
