Job summary

Siemens AG in Wendell, NC is seeking an Operations Safety Manager to lead and strengthen safety across all EA manufacturing plants. Relocation assistance is available, and travel up to 25% is required.

You will partner with plant managers, operations leaders, and EHS professionals to integrate safety into daily manufacturing, production planning, and process changes, driving a zero-harm culture across the EA plant network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety, occupational safety, engineering, industrial technology, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in a technical EHS or operational safety role within manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Five - eight years of experience leading safety programs, projects, or teams across functions or locations.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• Experience recognizing, evaluating, and controlling hazards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Champion a Zero Harm culture across all EA plants, protecting Siemens employees, contractors, visitors, and customers.
• Provide operational safety leadership and technical support to multiple plant locations.
• Develop and execute a multi-site operational safety strategy aligned with EA priorities and risks.
• Establish and improve safe work practices across EA manufacturing operations.
• Lead or support risk assessments for production processes, machinery, and maintenance activities.
• Support safety-by-design for new equipment and capital projects.
