Job summary

O-I is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager (Manufacturing) to partner with NA EH&S teams and site leaders to drive compliant and robust EH&S programs across Crenshaw Plant, Brockway Plant, and Plant 76. The role pushes for continuous improvement and integrates EH&S into site culture, ensuring safety excellence.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years leading manufacturing safety, CSP/ASP/CIH certifications, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant performing Environmental, Health and Safety activities.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites or facilities is preferred.
• ASP, CSP, or CIH certification is preferred.
• Able to certify OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide support across three sites: Crenshaw Plant, Brockway Plant, and Plant 76 Machine Repair Facility.
• Lead, plan, and promote all phases of the plant safety program.
• Implement, administer and advise on hazard controls and programs.
• Participate in state and federal OSHA inspections.
• Coordinate the plant accident and investigation program, including OSHA reports.
• Conduct mandated employee health and safety training programs.
• Assist Regional EH&S staff in evaluating and controlling employee exposure to health hazards.
