Job summary

Industrial Metal Supply Co. is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and oversee EHS programs across IMS sites nationwide.

You will drive the development and execution of EHS strategies, ensuring compliance with CAL-OSHA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and local regulations. As a trusted partner to operations and leadership, you will mentor site-level EHS Committees, lead audits and investigations, and serve as primary liaison with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or Engineering fields welcomed.
• Professional CSP/CIH certification strongly preferred.
• 3–7 years of progressive EHS experience, with 1–3 years in leadership or multi-site roles.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments; multi-site exposure desired.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, CAL-OSHA, EPA, DOT and related regulations.
• Experience conducting audits, incident investigations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor EHS Safety Committee Reps across multiple U.S. locations.
• Standardize and participate in location branch safety committee meetings (in-person or virtual).
• Provide strategic direction and guidance to implement consistent EHS programs and standards.
• Champion proactive safety culture and embed best practices into daily activities.
• Coordinate annual EHS goals and lead corporate safety committee reviews.
• Interface with CFO/COO and operations for safety oversight and actions.
