Job summary

Integrity Staffing Services in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs across six properties (eight buildings). This role requires physical stamina, safe working at heights, and reliable travel between locations.

You will handle preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues, and coordinate with external vendors for major HVAC and roofing repairs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of commercial building maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License; travel between properties.
• Electrical and plumbing knowledge; HVAC/roofing familiarity.
• Able to lift 75 pounds and work on ladders/roofs in varying weather.
• Proficient with ticketing/maintenance software.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Independent, trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across six properties / eight buildings.
• Complete preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing issues; coordinate major HVAC/roofing with vendors.
• Carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring repairs; replace ceiling tiles, lighting, filters, gutters.
• Monitor and manage vendor work; respond to client trouble tickets via ticketing software.
• Conduct regular inspections; maintain logs and work orders.
• Prioritize maintenance requests and travel between locations.
• Demonstrate ownership: address issues without direction.
• Be on-call 24/7 for emergencies.
