Avenue5 Residential in Flagstaff is seeking a Multi-Site Maintenance Technician to perform apartment and property maintenance duties with a focus on top-notch customer service and curb appeal.

The role requires electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and preventative maintenance skills, plus the ability to respond to emergencies and maintain safety standards. A valid driver’s license and English literacy are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience in property management or related field preferred.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills are required.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance must be maintained.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Conduct carpentry, wallboard, countertop/cabinet, door/lock, and tile repairs as needed.
• Carry out preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, sprinklers, and elevator systems.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness and address issues.
• Assist with emergency situations (weather events, fires, floods) as needed.
• Communicate promptly with maintenance leadership about issues.
• Promote safety and risk management according to rules and regulations.
• Participate in on-call/after-hours maintenance with scheduled response times.
• Maintain professional demeanor and interaction with residents and colleagues.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and other properties; protect confidentiality.
