Inspire Communities LLC in Chicago is seeking a Maintenance Manager to coordinate across multiple communities and oversee maintenance staff, ensuring safe and reliable operations of structures, equipment, and grounds. You will hire and develop staff, inspect homes and sites, manage vendors, and maintain water and electrical systems while upholding safety and service standards.

This is a full-time role with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform multi-task general maintenance duties with minimal supervision across multiple communities.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and position-related software.
• Advanced knowledge of ground set homes, plumbing, painting, landscaping/groundskeeping, and pool/spa maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, waterproofing, heat tape operation, and site chemical handling.
• Strong relationship-building, credibility, and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, confidentiality, ethics, and company policies.

Responsabilités

• Maintains and repairs roads, driveways, yard lights, pool gates, and various mechanical systems across communities.
• Reads meters and tests electrical circuits, replacing components as needed and performing pool maintenance.
• Ensures MSDS/SDS compliance and proper PPE usage across operations.
• Hires, develops, and manages maintenance staff; plans performance, conducts appraisals, and provides coaching.
• Conducts home/site inspections and follows up on violations for repairs.
• Manages inventory of equipment and supplies; coordinates vendor bids and project plans.
