Job summary

CYM Living is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our south side Chicago properties. You will oversee maintenance operations, supervise technicians, manage work orders, and ensure safety and code compliance while delivering tenant satisfaction.

You will coordinate preventive maintenance, on-call coverage, and vendor management across multiple sites, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and exceptional service. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Manage work orders: assign, prioritize, monitor quality, and ensure timely completion.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance plans; inspect properties regularly.
• Oversee after-hours emergency response and on-call scheduling.
• Supervise staff across properties and projects; handle hiring, training, and performance.
• Conduct property inspections for safety, utility usage, and seasonal upkeep; enforce PPE and safety protocols.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor work; ensure accurate invoicing and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and local building codes; Fair Housing policies.
