Job summary

Action for Boston Community Development seeks an Information Technology Manager/Information Security Officer to lead IT operations across multiple Career Centers in Boston area. You will serve as ISO, align security with state and federal rules, and partner with central ITS to protect data and ensure continuity.

The role combines leadership with hands-on technical work, including managing MS 365, infrastructure, and multi-site support, while supporting workforce development programs and ensuring

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in IT/CS or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud systems.
• Experience with information security, risk, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations across multiple Career Center sites.
• Supervise IT staff, manage tickets, and ensure high availability.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services and identity management.
• Serve as ISO, ensuring data privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Support program systems, reporting, and data workflows.
