Job summary

Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) seeks an Information Technology Manager/Information Security Officer to oversee hybrid IT operations across the Greater Boston Career Centers. You’ll serve as ISO, align with central ITS, and lead staff, policy, and security initiatives to protect data and enable workforce services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in IT with 3–5 years of progressive IT experience including systems and infrastructure.
• Ability to travel between Career Center locations regularly.
• Occasional after-hours support for urgent issues.
• Certifications in Microsoft, networking, or systems administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations across multiple Career Center sites to ensure high availability.
• Lead IT staff, manage tickets, and drive service standards across sites.
• Administer Microsoft 365, AD, Exchange, Teams and SharePoint in line with standards.
• Act as ISO, ensure compliance with federal/state requirements and internal controls.
