Job summary

Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. seeks an IT Manager & Information Security Officer to lead IT operations across multiple Boston-area Career Center sites. This role blends leadership with hands-on technical work to ensure secure, reliable technology supporting workforce development services.

As ISO, you will enforce data security requirements, manage on-premise and cloud environments, coordinate with central ITS, and mentor staff while maintaining service standards across locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years progressive IT experience including systems and support.
• Travel between Career Center locations is required.
• Experience with information security and compliance is preferred.
• Ability to lead strategic IT initiatives while performing hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT operations across multiple Career Center sites with high availability.
• Supervise IT staff and manage ticketing, escalation, and user support.
• Maintain MS 365 environment and identity/access management.
• Implement security policies, risk management, and audits.
• Coordinate with central ITS and ensure alignment with program needs.
