Job summary

Mambo Seafood Restaurants in Houston seeks an experienced IT Manager to oversee technology infrastructure across multiple restaurant locations, including POS systems, MDM, network security, connectivity, and day-to-day IT operations.

The role requires 5+ years in IT leadership, strong knowledge of Meraki, Office 365/Azure/SharePoint, and hands-on POS expertise. On-site, travel to stores may be required, with an annual discretionary bonus aligned to performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an IT management or senior IT support role (preferred).
• Experience with Aloha or Toast POS systems (preferred).
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms for iOS and laptop devices.
• Strong understanding of IT security protocols and best practices.
• Familiarity with Meraki networking hardware and dashboard administration.
• Experience administering Office 365, Azure, Entra ID, and SharePoint.
• Experience managing or supporting security systems (cameras, access control).
• Experience supporting multi-site/multi-location IT operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills for end-user IT support.
• Willingness to travel to store locations as needed; availability for on-call/after-hours support outside standard business hours.

Responsibilities

• Administer Office 365 environment, including Azure, Entra ID, and SharePoint.
• Administer and support mobile device management (MDM) software for iPads and laptops.
• Manage network infrastructure using Meraki (firewalls, switches, and access points).
• Implement and maintain security protocols across all company devices and networks.
• Troubleshoot security systems (cameras and alarm pads).
• Troubleshoot network and internet connectivity issues at store locations to minimize downtime.
• Provide regular hands-on IT support to end users (hardware, software, network issues).
• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot POS systems (Aloha or Toast preferred) across multiple locations.
• Support multiple sites/locations, coordinating IT needs across the organization.
• Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
• Provide on-call/after-hours support as needed to address urgent IT or POS issues.
