Job summary

The Training Center in New Jersey is seeking an IT Coordinator to join as the first in-house technology professional, supporting both The Training Center and Essential Services. You will manage day-to-day IT operations, support Mac environments, and collaborate with a third-party provider to improve our tech stack.

The role focuses on securing systems, optimizing software licenses, leading network projects, and ensuring reliable connectivity across Branchburg and Wrightstown.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in IT or related field; 3–5 years IT experience, multisite preferred.
• Experience administering macOS in a business environment (required) and Windows 10/11 (working proficiency).
• Proven success managing IT projects end to end, including networking or infrastructure work.
• Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, wireless design, and firewalls.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ or PMP are a plus; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT contact for all support requests; maintain a ticketing system and on-site support at Branchburg and Wrightstown.
• Troubleshoot macOS and Windows issues; manage device lifecycle from procurement to offboarding.
• Support classroom and training tech; provide remote support for staff at remote locations.
• Oversee software subscriptions, licenses, renewals, and cost optimization; drive security improvements.
