Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Healthcare Scheduling Supervisor in the Raleigh area to lead scheduling operations across multiple healthcare sites. This in-office leadership role focuses on delivering timely, accurate scheduling and a seamless patient experience from first call through appointment completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience leading healthcare scheduling and patient access operations.
• Experience managing teams across multiple locations or departments.
• Knowledge of EPIC or similar EMR/EHR systems.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of healthcare schedulers.
• Provide guidance to senior schedulers and build a leadership pipeline.
• Oversee scheduling operations across multiple locations with consistent processes.
• Monitor call volumes, response times, productivity, appointment availability, and other KPIs.
• Use data to identify trends and implement process improvements.
• Partner with site leaders on staffing, workflows, and process improvements.
• Ensure schedulers follow HIPAA and patient information protocols.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce scheduling errors.
• Support cross-functional projects and departmental initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for escalated patient, provider, or scheduling issues.
• Ensure staffing coverage across multiple sites.
