Job summary

Medi Home Health and Hospice - Charting Station, a division of Medical Services of America Inc., seeks an experienced, full-time Hospice Scheduler in Raleigh and Roxboro (Wake and Person Counties), NC. The Scheduler manages patient visit scheduling under supervision and handles related clerical duties for patient care personnel.

Key duties include scheduling home health visits, monitoring staff availability, and making welcome calls to patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year related experience or equivalent training preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; clerical and data-entry proficiency required.
• Ability to organize, prioritize work and meet deadlines; detail-oriented.

Medi Home Health and Hospice - Charting Station, a division of Medical Services of America Inc., seeks an experienced, full-time Hospice Scheduler in Raleigh and Roxboro (Wake and Person Counties), NC.

The Scheduler is responsible for all patient visit scheduling under the supervision of the Clinical Care Supervisor, and clerical duties of all matters that pertain to patient care personnel. Duties include but are not limited to the following.

• Schedules home health visits in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reviews schedules to assess staff availability on an ongoing basis.
• Places welcome calls to patients.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED, and one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, experience in scheduling personnel, basic clerical and data entry skills also required;
• Ability to organize and prioritize work, and meet deadlines;
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Previous home health scheduling experience strongly preferred.
